GMA has been named one of the Top Workplaces for 2017 in Atlanta by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution
. GMA was ranked 25 among 75 small workplaces in Atlanta, and was included in the newspaper’s March coverage of top workplaces. This ranking was a notable one as the association moved from being ranked 46th
in 2016 and 2015.
The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. More than 75 percent of GMA’s 80 employees participated in the survey. Of the 1,400 nominated companies, the AJC selected the top 150 for inclusion.
“GMA is truly a family and these results only reflect what I see each day,” said GMA Executive Director Lamar Norton. “This year, we took the survey a step further by requesting the custom statements, which we will use to further advance the association’s strategic plan goals and employee engagement.”

I am very impressed by senior management’s ability to find and hire people that really fit into the GMA culture, and their flexibility at new ideas and approaches.
I love GMA because the work is never boring—we are constantly tested and introduced to innovative way to engage and assist our members.
