This legislation would prohibit municipalities from placing bans on the sale of goods or products regulated by either the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or the Georgia Department of Agriculture. This legislation would remove local authority to regulate sales on retail items, including the retail sales of cats and dogs.
