2016 Report of Stormwater Fees and Fee Structures in Georgia

March 23, 2017  |  Georgia Environmental Finance Authority & UNC Environmental Finance Center
This report details the results of a statewide survey of stormwater fees and fee structures conducted by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority and the Environmental Finance Center in 2016. Single-family residential, multi-family residential, and nonresidential stormwater fees and fee structures are analyzed for 48 local government stormwater utilities throughout the State of Georgia. This report answers frequently asked questions about what utilities are charging, their fee structure designs, billing practices, and other topics.

The summary report is one of several products (including an interactive Rates Dashboard, data tables, and utility rate sheet summaries) created at the conclusion of the annual survey. All of the products can be viewed on the Georgia Stormwater Utility Management project page.
